At our end-of-year Court of Honor, we took a few minutes to look back on recent activities and recognize the boys' achievements.
In the past three months, we've had 3 service projects, 4 car camping trips, 2 backpacking trips, and a 10+ mile day hike.
Our Scouts decide which outings to do each year, so we asked the boys to consider the merits of our recent endeavors when we meet during summer camp to plan next year's outings.
We also had 22 boys rank-up at the Court of Honor. The boys were reminded of the work behind their accomplishments and challenged to meet the expectations their new ranks entail.
In the weeks ahead, we look forward to our troop's first full crew (9 boys) headed to Philmont as well as 51 boys headed to summer camp at Rock Enon.
