A Wet and Windy 2015 Projectoree

at Camp Wilson

What a great couple of days. Except for snow, the weather covered the spectrum of opportunities very well! We had sun, wind, cloud, and rain (and, oh, did we have a lot of rain). Have a butchers at the photos below, and you'll hopefully get some idea of what the boys did at this year's Projectoree event at Camp Wilson from April 24-26, 2015.

At the end, you'll see a few shots of some of us on the water. This was our first Northern Tier training session, which we conveniently did at Pohick Bay Park immediately following the troop's departure from the Projectoree.

The Projectoree is an annual competition between Chain Bridge District Troops who field patrols composed of at least seven scouts. We sent three this year, The Donkeys, The Dogfish, and The Purple Narwhals!

Congratulations to the Purple Narwhals who won the whole competition (1st out of 28 patrols!). See the full write up in our Journal.
